LA Kings - NHL

LA Kings

For more than 50 years, the LA Kings have had a storied history of bringing global sports icons, cultural influence, and Stanley Cup glory to the City of Angels. With countless Hockey Hall of Famers on the ice and an incredibly loyal fanbase in the stands, LA Kings hockey has produced memories from the Miracle on Manchester and the welcoming of Wayne Gretzky to Stanley Cup parades in Downtown LA and along the beaches of Southern California. The legacy of the LA Kings remains the ultimate commitment to our supporters, partners, and community. With a blend of Stanley Cup champions, established NHL veterans, and future NHL stars, LA Kings hockey is poised to reign once again.

LA Kings fans have a fiercely passionate and loyal fanbase. From early days at the Forum in blue and gold, to rooting on legendary icons like Gretzky and Robitaille, to seeing the Stanley Cup raised on Kings ice, LA Kings fans have been a constant. This devoted fan base is the sixth largest in the NHL and has been central to the growth in hockey’s popularity on the West Coast. LA Kings fans are also the most diverse and the most affluent in the league.

February 23, 1980 was the first LA Kings game I had ever seen. My first game, I looked around and saw many empty seats. Now, four decades later, I see a diverse cross-section of fans that represent the diverse cross-section of every neighborhood that is the City of Angels, and I’m proud to consider many of these diverse Kings fans as my hockey family!
